"Oh god, oh god." I said, our fluids dripping out onto the sand while he knelt there in front of me, smiling with his swelling grey member in between his legs. He laid beside me and caressed me underneath the stars, rubbing my shoulder and telling me how important I was to him.
That was all about to change.
CHAPTER TEN
Penny
"Is this the spot?" I asked him.
"Likely." he said.
We were on another beachhead, the one from the night before came up empty so now we were about a mile north. He told me that he could swim forever, it was no big deal to him, that was how Ithyrian's were. It was a bit cold though, we ran back into a nearby town to grab him a wetsuit.
"Ready?" I asked him.
"Yeah, see ya." he said and hopped back into the water.
He swims out into the distance and I see him cheer after stumbling around the water for a while. He swam in a large circle before finally making his way back, something was following him from the water. This large and angular shape that is dragged out of the water and placed on the sand in front of me. I stared at it for a brief while, glancing at him while he only smiled. It was as large as a car, he pressed a button on its side and it unlocked.
"Ta-da!" he said.
"It's....certainly a lot more mundane." I murmured as I slide my hand against the hull, the cold black metal rushing against my fingers while the machine began to glow. White light floating out from the cracks as the top of the ship opened. Inside was a single seat with some beds in the back. He climbed in and went to the back, grabbing a trunk of stuff and tossing it out onto the beach.
"What's that?" I asked.
"Supplies." he explained.
He opened it and inside were guns, medical supplies, food, you name it. He reaches inside and grabs something resembling a pistol and cocked it, placing it off to the side.
"What do you got?" I asked.
"Standard stuff, medical supplies, weapons, nothing too fancy." he said.
He grabbed this tool, this medical supply tool and turned it on. It was supposed to repair wounds using nanites but it could also do facial reconstructions or change hair/skin color if necessary. It worked slow but it did work. He gripped a small computer, something he had finagled that could get them off my trail, of course these were all things that I didn't need anymore, I was going with him.
Right?
I hold the gun in my hand, the smooth black steel shining as I run my finger along the size and hum softly. It was so pretty, so illustrious, so powerful. There was a chamber to insert the charge, a pretty standard white cylinder fit into this slot and would power the pistol. He sees me admiring it and walked up.
"It looks pretty regular to me." I said to him.
"It is, let me show you." he said to me with a smile.
He held me from behind and gripped the gun. I sighed softly and stroked the side of the barrel as he directed my fingers to the trigger. He tells me to pull on the trigger and a small round comes out, a tiny energy beam that causes the water to splash up a bit. I looked at him rather questioningly. That was it? These were his magical weapons?
"Now hold it down for longer." he said.
I aim the gun once more, pressing my finger against the trigger and waiting until he says I can let go. Once I do a massive energy wave shoots out and hits the water, practically vaporizing it and causing me to shake in fear. I started to shake and he nearly doubled over laughing. I turned to him with a glare, now possessing a great deal of respect for the weapon in my hand. That could have blown up a tank!
"Let me show you the rest." he said.
He lifts the lid of the chest and showed me what was inside. I admired each and every piece of equipment, grinning like a kid at Christmas as he showed me the medical tools, the computers, that sort of thing. The guns were incredible, his rifle was built for speed, as soon as he pulled the trigger a repetitive electronic clicking sound emitted and balls of energy were flowing out from the barrel.
"Oh my god." I said after the sound of him firing finished and the vaporized water subsided.
"Looks like you two are having fun." a malevolent, almost machine-like voice spoke, I looked up at the rock cliffs and saw this metallic humanoid standing there. He gazed at me with his red eyes, his head was triangular in shape, a round head with two prongs sticking out from his temples, he had fangs and the build of a heavyweight boxer. He was holding a pistol in his hand, grinning at me. His entire body was coated in this slick, shining metal, he glanced at me and waved.
"So you must be Markham's catch." he spat.
"No, no." I stumbled back.
"I'll take care of it." said Kelian as he growled, his eyes turning back to their shade of gold, his human figure fading to give rise to his true, Ithyrian self.
"Oh no you won't.....she doesn't' know yet does she?" asked Ezriel, grinning as several more soldiers made their appearance known by shining a variety of green and red lasers onto me, I shivered in fear. They wouldn't kill me. Would they?
"Know what? What do you know?" I asked Kelian, he ignored the question.
"Tell Markham to leave us alone. That goes for you too Ezriel, unless you want to get acquainted with the Pacific." growled Kelian, his eyes flashed red and his horns shone in the sun.
"In the final days of your father calling didn't you notice something rather peculiar? A sickness, a weakness perhaps? Your father, he wasn't killed by us. He wasn't even killed by Markham." said Ezriel.
"Just leave!" shouted Kelian, the lighting bulged out from his body, he was snarling.
"You remember how weak he was in those final days. You remember how frail he got, you know why that was Kelian but you kept it a secret, you used us as a scapegoat but we all really knew what happened. He let you out and you left him to die....by your own hand." said Ezriel, tears began to well in my eyes as I gazed at Kelian for reassurance.
"What is he talking about?" I asked Kelian.
"I don't...I don't know." Kelian said, somewhat confused all of a sudden.
"Your father! He died from contracting a sickness from this rogue alien. Kelian kept on pleading with your father for attention, for a way out, doing so finally cost him his life when your father passed away that fateful day, as his final act he set this alien free, not knowing that he died due to this Ithyrian." said Ezriel.
"You....you killed him? You made him sick?" I asked Kelian, shivering with shock.
"I.....I didn't-." said Kelian, the electricity suddenly disappearing, he fell to his knees in front of me and hung his head.
"Take them." ordered Ezriel, his men hopping over the rocks and gathering around me, gripping my arms and dragging me away. I gazed back at Kelian, I had already forgiven him but his ability to forgive himself, well that was in question.
"You did this you dirty Ithyrian. I'm going to have fun making you scream." said Ezriel, he stands on Kelian's chest and dug his feet into his ribs while Kelian only shivered in grief, he was inconsolable.
That was the last I saw of the only man I ever loved, the only man that I ever wanted and the one that imagined a life with before a black bag was slid over my head and a needle was injected into my shoulder.
#
And seconds later I wake in a cell.
I sit there in this overwhelming white light, the whole room was white, white floor, walls, bucket, door. A man is standing there, toying with his knife and sliding it against his nails. He looked at me with a smile, his brown hair combed back and his smile wide, he was muscular and quite young. He would have looked the part of a charming prince if it were not for the fact that I immediately knew who he was from a gut feeling.
His general uniform shifted, the green sliding along his arms as he stands in front of me and smiles. Those dim brown eyes locked with mine and he smiled even more, I grew irritated, spitting at him.
"What the hell do you want? Aren't you going to kill me?" I asked him.
&nb
sp; "No....i'm going to make it much worse for you." he said.
"Where's Kelian?! I want to see him!" I yelled, banging on the clear plexiglass walls, his face inches from mine, only separated by an inch of bulletproof glass.
"He's, preoccupied. Actually that's what I wanted to come here to talk to you about." he said to me and I shake my head.
"Fuck you!" I yelled, punching the glass and fracturing something in my hand. I didn't care, I wanted this man to die right now for all the pain he put me through, the pain that he put my dad through, the pain that he was putting Kelian through.
"You know, I really did think that you'd be angrier over the freak killing your father whether it was by accident or not. You always were daddy's girl, that is until you met this grey and you fucked." he lecherously drawled as his fingers slide against the glass.
"I'll kill you! I'll kill you!" I yelled.
"Oh darling you don't want to do that. Cause when i'm done torturing E.T with you watching i'm coming here and we're going to have a real good time." he said.
"What are you going to do to him?!" I interrogated him and he merely smiled.
"Oh you know, the works. What we did last time, we're going to kill him slowly, drain his microbiome and starve him. We're going to make you watch every moment of it on this monitor." he said and pointed back to a TV behind him. "And the best part is he's not going to fight back because he thinks you blame him. He blames himself and you can't ever talk to him or tell him any differently." said Markham.
"Why? Why are you doing this? Why couldn't you just leave us the fuck alone you asshole?" I asked him.
"Your old man was a pest. I would have killed him myself if it didn't involve the law but once your boyfriend came here on that ship....well the choice was simple. Use the alien fuck as an excuse and a method to kill your old man." said Markham.
"No, no!" I roared, tears welling in my eye. Usually Kelian was the one to find a way out of this mess, he was the one that would get me out.
Now I was stuck here, alone. I would watch him die in front of me and after that I would be tortured by this sick bastard and his men till the end of time.
"Enjoy your movie sweetheart. Trust me this isn't going to be as bad as you think it is." said Markham as he clicked his tongue and walked out the door to the side. The TV in front of the cell turned on as he walked out the door off to the side. I watched the image flicker on, waves of white washing over the screen as I saw him sitting there.
"Kelian...." I whined, sliding my fingers along the glass while staring at him.
He sat there, distraught as could be. He slides a hand over his face and quivered, he was inconsolable, he wasn't moving at all. I knew that he couldn't hear me but I kept on repeating "It's not your fault, it's not your fault." it was no use at all.
"Please, please don't leave me here." I pleaded with him.
He looked sickly already, must have been something that they were pumping into his cell to make the process a bit more excruciating. He was shivering, his frail hands groping the floor as his once golden eyes took a light yellow shade. A Trezodian walked in to deliver him some food and smacked Kelian around a couple of times while I gasped. Kelian didn't even touch the food, he just sat there and shook in grief.
"My love." I whimpered, sliding my fingers along the glass.

It didn't matter now.
I did this to her, I caused this mess. If I hadn't been here her father would've been alive and she would have her old life. I was why she was hunted, I hurt everything I cherished, her father died because I got cocky and came here for my own greed.
And now I was paying the price.
"You did this." I repeated to myself.
I stared at my grey skin, the dry air in here was making it crack and bleed. I didn't care, it was all broken inside anyways. I didn't have a care in the world. I shivered in indignation, in fear, I was quivering and the tears threatened to spill out once more. I could never love, I could never be close to another, who was I kidding? Ithyrians were cursed for life.
"Here's your meal." said a guard, stepping in and tossing a tray of food onto me, spilling it all over my head before kicking me in the face.
I didn't care.
It was all numb to me now. The world was a dull grey, the cold air in here made me shiver, the dryness made me bleed, I didn't care at all. I stand there, humming to myself, I hoped that it would all cease, that I would awake on that beach with her once more and that we would be together.
But that's all it was....a dream.
My cell wasn't that large, it was quite cramped actually, 4 feet by 4 feet, I could even lay down. There was a plexiglass wall separating me from freedom, I paw at it and gaze at the guards as they stepped in and teased me. They let me know how foolish I was, how stupid I was for thinking that I could make it out of this mess and not harm anyone.
Now the price was being paid on my part.
The water doesn't run in here, I didn't even have a toilet. The food that they served me was rotten and putrid. My lips were already getting a bit chapped, the only water was from this tube hanging from the ceiling. They would spill it in when I got to thirsty but always kept it at a level to maximize discomfort.
"Day 3 grey. Same meal as before, toxic shit." the guard said and tossed another tray at me, I reached out in front of me.
"Penny." I muttered.
"What the fuck is he saying?" One of the guards asked.
"Penny." I whimpered.
"He's crazy, maybe we should knock some sense into him. This fucker killed Ian remember?" one of the guards said.
"He was my best man you grey bastard, like a brother, not that you would know anything about having friends at this point right? Hahahah. Yeah, we're going to have some real fun." said his friend, cracking his knuckles.
"Penny." I muttered.
I see her standing there on the beach, sunlight dripping over her curves with her head cocked back. She was wearing a flowing white dress and the mist of the ocean was washing over her. Birds chirp in the distance, trees shiver, her hands at her side and her beautiful brown hair floating over her cheeks while her green eyes shone down on me. Her feet slide against the sand and she turns to me, grinning. She smiled at me and waved while I feel my body quiver, I can see her grinning and beckoning me to follow her. I get up but they bash my legs, hitting me in the calves and cause me to double over. I try to look up and see her but they kick my head and crack my horns, grinning as they did so.
"Penny." I muttered.
"Enough of this, let's go before we get in trouble. Techs want a look at his body before we kill him outright." said one of the guards, the others nodded and walked out the room, leaving me in a pool of my blood, muttering to myself in all of this depression and gloom. Only one word kept me hanging on, I wanted to see her, I wanted to tell her how sorry I was. I knew I would never get the honor, I would never get the privilege of seeing her but I didn't care. I held onto hope that she still loved me, that she was waiting for me at the end of this. Part of me wouldn't let me die for her sake, that part of me was losing the battle, the beach was getting farther and farther. Those sunbeams that dripped onto the water were fading and her flowing white dress fluttered into dust the more I laid here.
Over the next days our trip is all that I can think about.
I see her in various spots, sitting in that warehouse before me, helpless, not knowing that I was the one that brought this mess onto her. The day she took me shopping and even bought me some clothes. The night on the field when we consummated our passion but not our love. Those snow capped mountains and the flakes that fell onto my shoulder when we confessed our love to one another and pleasured each other under the rocks.
She smiles in my dreams.
The snow flutters over her cheek and she danced on the ice. Her brown hair dangling in the blizzard and green eyes glimmering with joy. I sit by the fire, trying t
o fix something to eat while she stands there in the snow, in a mixture of embers and snow she dances.
She dances.
CHAPTER ELEVEN
Penny
"Mealtime." said the woman, she was unlike the others. Usually it was a guard that delivered the food but this time....it was her.
She stands there in front of me, her greying hair collected into a neat bob. She was rather thin and tall, wire frame glasses hang from her ears and small earrings shine in the light. Her blue eyes rested on me, sorrowful in their intention and inadequate in their effort. She wore a lab coat and a blue undershirt with a tag hanging from her breast pocket. Her black slacks slide against the cold metal and her rings slide along the metal dish as she approached.
"Why did they send you? To make me feel a bit more comfortable?" I asked her in a bitter tone and she gives no response.
It takes a while and she sighs, standing there and sliding her feet against the flooring while I rolled my eyes. I didn't want to be pestered by her, by whatever she had to say. She was still working for them, still complicit in all of this and I hated her for it. Nothing she could say would change it.
"I'm sorry about your father." she said.
"I don't blame him. No matter what you people say. It wasn't his fault, you just used it to make him feel helpless." I spat.
"I worked with your father." she continued, avoiding my responses.
"And that's supposed to make you my friend? Go away, I have nothing to say to you." I muttered at her.
".....I heard a lot about you." she started again, I turned to glance at her tag, Dr. Sandalphon.
She slides the dish of food into my cell and sits there on the floor in front of the glass window while I stared at the ground. I take the food into my hand and munch, listening aimlessly, occasionally picking up on a couple of things she told me. None of it was new, none of it meant anything now that he was gone, it was all a distraction, tales of old that I already heard, coming from a woman I couldn't give two damp shits about.
